There once was a beautiful, wise lady named Queen Anne. Her smile and her happy laugh was only matched by her unerring honesty. Through her travels, she had the gift of learning from each person she met and each place that she visited. This is how she became so very wise.
One day, she met a princess who was very sad. The princess was betrothed to a prince who had a selfish heart. Queen Anne, who was very, very wise, told the sad princess that she had many gifts to give. Queen Anne told the sad princess that she should leave the evil prince behind, and spread her arms wide and be happy.
And the sad princess knew the wisdom of Queen Anne’s words. She broke free, and went on to live many happy years. She married a prince who was very kind and loving, and lived in a charming little cottage with beautiful gardens and giant flowering trees.
But then a dark cloud came over the kingdom. The princess’ beloved mother died of a terrible illness, and the princess once again became very sad. Her shoulders became bowed despite her young age and her eyes grew dim.
Queen Anne, who was very, very wise, saw the great sadness that had overtaken the princess. She spoke once again, with love and honesty. She told the sad princess that she had many gifts to give. Queen Anne told the sad princess that she must once again break free of her burden.
And the princess knew the wisdom of Queen Anne’s words. Although she still carried the sadness of her beloved mother’s death, she straightened her bowed shoulders and lifted her head. She was very grateful for the wisdom that Queen Anne gave her, and she spread her arms wide and was happy once again.
May we all live happily ever after.
I love you, Anne!
